The Upper Canada Cyclones are excited to host the 2025 U18 AAA Central Regional Championships from March 31 to April 6, 2025. This prestigious event will feature the top teams in Ontario competing for the championship title in an action-packed week of youth hockey. Winner of this tournament goes on to play for the TELUS Cup, hosted by the Fraser Valley Thunderbirds, in Fraser Valley British Columbia. The Central Region U18 AAA Championship features teams from two of Ontario's three Hockey Canada branches: Hockey Eastern Ontario (HEO) and the Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF).
The tournament will take place in Kemptville, a vibrant town in North Grenville about 30 minutes from Ottawa, known for its passionate hockey fans and sporting traditions. Kemptville is also home to the Jr. A Kemptville 73's. Players, coaches, and fans can expect a thrilling display of skill and sportsmanship.
The Upper Canada Cyclones look forward to welcoming players and fans to what is promised to be a fantastic week of hockey.
Venue Information
This years Central Regional Championship will take place in the vibrant town of Kemptville located in the community of North Grenville.
The North Grenville Municipal Centre is one of the best rinks in the area and a fan favourite to watch their team battle it out, located off Highway 416 approximately 30 minutes from the Nations Capital. Ample parking for passenger vehicles and coach buses. Inside the facility are 2 NHL sized rinks with seating for 2,000, and amenities that can support a tournament of this size.
